Who is responsible for your data
AnchorKnight is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us about any privacy question or request at hello@anchorknight.com.
What we collect
- Waitlist details — the email address you submit, and your first name and product interest if you choose to provide them.
- Usage data — anonymous or pseudonymous analytics about how you use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser), collected via cookies and similar technologies only where you have consented.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To run the waitlist and tell you about the launch — we use your email to send launch news and your pre-order link. Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form.
- To understand and improve the site — aggregated analytics help us see what's useful. Legal basis: your consent for analytics/marketing cookies, or our legitimate interest in a functioning website for strictly necessary processing.
Third parties we share data with
We don't sell your data. We use a small number of trusted processors to operate the site:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — website analytics.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) — measurement of ad and campaign performance.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland) — aggregated usage insights.
- Our email/waitlist provider — to store your signup and send you launch updates.
- Vercel — website hosting.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, and — only with your consent — analytics and marketing cookies from the providers listed above. You can withdraw consent or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
How long we keep your data
We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them or until the campaign ends and they are no longer needed. Analytics data is retained for a limited period in line with each provider's defaults.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to object to or restrict its processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@anchorknight.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and our practices evolve. We'll change the "last updated" date above whenever we do.
